(Apologies for the roughness - this has been rather thrown together.)

Greenland, known as Kalaallit Nunaat, which translates to "Land of the People", is the least densely populated country in the world.

I'll be near the red "a", landing in the town of Kangerlussuaq.
The green A represents the next nearest settlement, Sisimiut.
But, once I get there, I'll go to Russel Glacier, which is up near here (see map above to get an idea). It's a one hour drive from town on a washed-out, water-boarded dirt road, after which you take a twenty minute walk to the river crossing, pull yourself hand-over-hand across, and then walk another hour and a half.

What my day will be like.

Up there, I'll drop my sensor package in a moulin and hope it comes out the other end.

Wish I could explain more, but I'm in Denmark and need to go to sleep now!

This looks very interesting, hope you stay warm. Watch out for Polar Bears.

I hope we don't see Greenland as three separate islands. we would have the ocean out our back door.
